Security Induction Course – S.20030

(Pre-requisite for Certificate II in Security Guarding S.20031)

This course is designed as an introduction to the security industry and highlights the qualities that makeup an efficient and effective security officer. It is also designed as a test for assessing the suitability of persons employed as security officers. This includes psychometric and amplitude examinations. 

Duration of the Induction Course is 7 hours per day, lasting 2 days, (from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm) total of 14 Hours. It is expected that all candidates will spend a completing workbooks at the end of each day in class. Our lecturer will be on hand to assist.

A one (1) hour multiple-choice examination is to be conducted on the third day. Papers are marked immediately and results are discussed with individual participants. Training outcomes are set to Australian Standards. A re-examination of candidates that do not achieve the 80% pass mark can also be arranged.

All successful candidates are issued with a ‘Certificate of Attainment’.

Certificate II in Security Guarding S.20031

Once your staff successfully completes the Induction Course, they would be eligible to commence S.20031. Certificate in Security Guarding will take a further 3 days, including a 3-hour examination.

This is a comprehensive course and requires a high standard of achievement resulting in a well-trained officer.  The course will be tailored specifically to your site operations.

A certificate is formally presented to all passing candidates. All graduates are invited to join our bi-annual on-line refresher forum to continuously update their skills.
